Victory Partners’ investment banking practice is a leader in Texas, focused on middle market transactions between $10 and $250 million. Over the past nine years, Victory has consummated in excess of $750 million in transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, and private placements, a prodigious amount when considering the marketplace we serve. While it is important to note that the principals of Victory Partners possess highly diverse merchant and investment banking experience, having all come from leading firms in their respective areas of expertise, the firm brings a highly unique approach to its investment banking practice. All team leaders possess critical entrepreneurial experience, having started or acquired smaller businesses, growing them to be market leaders in their industry. The Victory team is uniquely poised to provide the level of sophistication and creativity of a Wall Street firm to its middle-market clients at a fraction of the cost. Because the firm is results-driven, Victory is highly selective in the clients the firm will represent. We typically work with companies with revenues from $25 to $250 million who either seek to sell their company, acquire competing or strategically positioned firms, or raise expansion capital (both equity and debt). On a limited basis, the firm also arranges financing for entrepreneurial, proven managers to pursue acquisition opportunities. In certain instances, Victory Partners will acquire a structured equity stake in its clients and actively participate on a company's board. Victory Partners, LLC was formed in January 2008 when Whitley Penn, LLP spun-out its affiliated investment banking practice; however, the firm’s primary principals have owned and operated the firm since 1999. The principals seized on an opportunity to bring a broadened set of value-added services that could not be offered through a partnership with a traditional accounting firm to a wider spectrum of companies throughout the United States.
