Dean is an Operating Partner with Victory Partners. He brings over 30 years of business executive experience in the roles of CEO, COO and CFO. After starting his career with Deloitte and successfully filling the roles of CFO for two manufacturing firms, Dean acquired a telecom test product company in 1995 via a leveraged buyout and went on to successfully restructure the company for success and growth. Responsibilities included growing and expanding an international distribution channel, structuring a joint venture with a major Pacific Rim test product supplier, expanding revenue through strategic OEM deals with some of the largest test companies in addition for oversight of accounting, MRP, sales and marketing.
In 2005 he was invited to an equity position as CEO for a DOD wireless engineering company where he went on generate company record breaking profits and return on equity. Dean is a 3x business owner with expertise in technology based products, wireless engineering, food service and more. Throughout his career, Dean has advised the shareholders and management of entrepreneurial-based companies, start-up companies and troubled companies in a variety of capacities.
He serves on the Board of Directors for NFTE (Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship), is a member of the Howard County Tech Counsel and contributes to several executive round-tables. He holds a MBA from Loyola University Sellinger School of Business and a BS in Accounting from Towson University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) licensed in Maryland, a Certified Valuation Analyst (C.V.A.) and a Certified Exit Planner (CEP).
