R. Todd Lazenby

Todd founded WP Capital Partners, LP, the predecessor firm of Victory Partners, LLC in 2003 and is the Managing Partner of Royal Ascot Partners, LLC, an affiliated buy-out firm with close ties to Hickman Investments (a Ft. Worth, Texas Family office). Todd brings 22 years of corporate finance, investment banking, and entrepreneurial experience to the firm, having held increasing senior level positions in both mid-sized and Fortune 500 commercial and investment banks. He has arranged and overseen in excess of $3.5 billion in capital markets transactions, both as a principal and as an advisor in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Prior to forming Victory Partners, Todd was the Managing Partner of WP Capital Partners, L.P. (formerly Summit Capital Partners, LLC), where he sourced, managed, and closed in excess of $500 million in middle market transactions for the firm. Previously, Todd advised Winthrop Capital, a private venture firm, on its staffing industry consolidation strategy, structuring and negotiating the acquisition and financing of all portfolio companies on behalf of the firm. Todd was a founding principal and executive vice president of Affinity Finance, LLC, where he was instrumental in developing a joint venture with a leading California bank. Prior to forming Affinity, Todd held the position of Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco, managing the bank’s national home equity division. He has been a member of several company and charity boards, including FOH, Inc. (Fredricks of Hollywood), HomeBanc Inc., CMG Bancorp, Inc., Automated Data Sciences, Inc., First Chair Technologies, IFJG, SkyDrill Energy, Inc. and InTelegy Corp. Todd served as an adjunct professor of Entrepreneurial Finance at the University of Phoenix in California and is a past member of the Dallas Chapter of Young Entrepreneurs Organization and a past member of the Baylor University Executive MBA Committee. In addition, Todd currently serves on the board of directors for the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce and the March of Dimes and has twice served as Chairman of the Breakfast with a Champion Fundraiser. He holds an ED in Finance from Stanford University, an MBA, with high honors, and a BS in Communications, with honors, from Florida State University, and a BSBA, with high honors, from Barry University.


Terry D. Hess, CFP

Terry oversees Victory Partner’s Restructuring and Turnaround Management practice and joins the firm boasting an impressive background constituting more than 30 years of commercial finance, banking, real estate development, and work-out and restructuring experience.  Terry has held numerous senior executive positions within commercial banks ranging from the Chief Credit Officer to the Chief Executive Officer of various bank subsidiaries. Among his most notable accomplishments is the recapitalization of GlenFed Corp., a bank holding company for Glendale Federal Loan FSB. As a senior executive on the restructuring team, Terry was critical in the successful turnaround which took the company from near seizure by the OTS, trading at $3 per share, to selling the bank to CalFed 3 years later for $37 per share.  Throughout his tenure at GlenFed and the turnaround process, Terry played several pivotal roles, as demonstrated by his membership on the credit policy committee, loan committee, asset/liability committee, and management committee.  In addition to his restructuring experience, Terry also has impressive real estate credentials. As a senior lender at the First National Bank of Chicago in their Real Estate Industries Group (REIG) as well as the Executive Vice President at Glendale Federal Bank, Terry has overseen and managed the development of over $500 million in specialty real estate projects located throughout the U.S., both as a principal and as an officer with major real estate developers.  He sits on the board of directors for Meals on Wheels in Ashville, NC, the Diana Wortham Theatre in Ashville and the University Savings Bank in Seattle, Washington.  He was the Campaign Chairman for the United Way located in Glendale, California as well as a member of the Rotary Club in Ashville, North Carolina.  Terry earned his BA in economics from Dartmouth College where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.  He has an MBA in finance and real estate from Stanford Graduate School of Business and holds his Series 7, Series 63 and CFP designations, along with his real estate broker’s license.


Thomas E. Lindholm

Tom brings more than 25 years of experience as a senior corporate executive at the Fortune 500 level and as a seasoned investment and merchant banker. Tom has advised and consulted financial institutions such as commercial national banks, investment banking firms, hedge funds and commercial finance companies in asset/liability management, capital structure strategies, portfolio management and underwriting policies. Tom is also recognized as an expert in the alternative energy industry, having developed strategies and structuring and procuring in excess of $250 million in capital for several “small cap” publicly traded companies. Tom runs Victory Partners Investment Banking Advisors and serves as an advisor to Royal Ascot Partners, LLC.  Prior to joining Victory Partners, Tom was the founder and president of Roth Thomas, Ltd, an investment and consulting firm catering to hedge funds and private equity firms, successfully raising and investing $225 million between 2001 and 2006. Previously, Tom was Executive Vice President of KBK Capital Corporation, a publicly traded specialty commercial finance company based in Ft. Worth, Texas, where he managed the company’s Asset Based Lending Group, Marketing Team and Mezzanine Fund, overseeing $800 million in factoring/ABL/Mezzanine commitments to small business/middle market companies between 1998 and 2001.  Prior to KBK, Mr. Lindholm was a senior vice president of Bank One, N.A (now JP Morgan Chase Bank), managing several regions for the bank’s commercial lending group. Tom was responsible for originating in excess of $320 million in small business/middle market loan commitments throughout the U.S.  Tom earned his BSBA from the University of Denver in 1982 with an emphasis in finance.  He is active in the Association for Corporate Growth, the Turnaround Management Association, and the Southlake Executive Forum.


Anthony R. Neveling, CFA

Tony has spent the past 13 years advising clients on investment strategies and analysis, asset management and mergers & acquisitions in both the Fortune 500 and middle market sectors.  He has managed assets for institutions and private partnerships and advised corporate insiders in the sale and disposition of large, concentrated holdings. He has managed and closed in excess of $120 million in middle market M&A transactions and has built a reputation for closing extremely difficult transactions.  Tony is a founder and partner of Royal Ascot Partners, LLC, an affiliated buy-out firm with close ties to the Hickman Family Office, Hickman Investments.  Tony has spent the past five years focused on developing value-added exit strategies for family offices and closely held middle market companies and manages the firm’s mergers and acquisitions practice.  Prior to joining Victory Partners, LLC (formerly WP Capital), Tony was an Associate at Credit Suisse First Boston and was responsible for developing and managing assets for the firm’s selected clients and advising senior executives and directors on hedging and monetization strategies and alternative investments. Previously, Tony was a Risk Analyst at Enron Capital & Trade where he managed trading risk for equity and derivatives portfolios. Prior to joining Enron, he worked as a Financial Analyst at JP Morgan & Co. performing trading and position analysis for the firm’s proprietary equity trading desks. Tony is a member of the CFA Society of Dallas-Fort Worth and The Longhorn Foundation at the University of Texas. He has also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Phoenix.  He holds an MBA in Finance and BBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.


Richard M. Nichols, Esq.

Rich brings more than 30 years of experience as a lawyer and entrepreneur, identifying, operating, financing, and consummating transactions as well as providing advice and business counsel to entrepreneurs in the technology, sports and entertainment, finance, broadcasting, and telecommunications industries. He has been an operating principal in several major start-up companies. Rich was the owner/operator of the City of San Francisco Marathon, a founding executive of the professional American Basketball League (A.B.L.), was president of Athletishare, Inc., and has served as the personal sports attorney for several nationally renown athletes, including Marion Jones, Edwin Moses, and James Lofton, to name a few. He has enjoyed a distinguished career as a senior counsel with both Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich, & Rosati, P.C in the Silicon Valley and Hughes & Luce, L.L.P., in Dallas, Texas. Rich has served as an adjunct professor at University of California, Hastings College of Law, teaching Sports Law and has served on several company boards of directors. He is nationally recognized as a specialist in the field of corporate legal crisis management and has worked with celebrities, government officials, government and non-profit agencies, and sports teams in this capacity. Rich is a graduate of Dartmouth College, earned a Masters of Arts degree from Stanford University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Hastings College of Law.


Derrick W. Reagins

Derrick Reagins is a key member of Victory Partners strategic and crisis management practice, having enhanced client value in multi-dimensional transactions through his strategic, financial and legal insight. Derrick possesses a broad background in corporate business development, mergers & acquisitions, strategic marketing, and technology. Prior to joining the Victory Partners team, Derrick served as the strategic marketing manager with Texas Instruments’ mobile device processor group. In this role, he drove quarterly and long-range P&L planning and both evaluated and developed global market development strategies for emerging technologies. Prior to Texas Instruments, Derrick spent several years in international corporate development and venture capital roles. As an integral member of the Business Objects’ corporate business development team, he developed and executed corporate strategy through M&A, intellectual property management, equity investment and strategic alliance activities. He was also instrumental in identifying, evaluating and investing in early-stage investments throughout Western Europe for Partech International while based in Paris, France. Additionally, Derrick brings diverse operational experience garnered from business development and product line management activities in Japan and Asia to managing a software development team in Paris, France. Derrick holds an MBA with specialization in M&A and IP management from the University of California at Berkeley, two MSEE degrees from Georgia Tech and Ecole Supérieure de l’Electricité, and a BSEE from Purdue University. Having spent several years living and working abroad, Derrick is fluent in French.


Connor A. Ambrose

Connor’s responsibilities include industry-specific research, financial modeling, valuation modeling, and general financial analysis in the evaluation of companies for strategic investment banking transactions. Connor joins Victory Partners, LLC as an associate from Liberty International Underwriters, an Oil & Gas corporate insurance specialist. In this capacity, Connor directed the development of the drilling rig book of business. In addition, Connor earned an associate intern position with Lone Star New Markets LP, a middle market private equity group performing due diligence and strategic corporate planning. Mr. Ambrose received his Master of Business Administration with honors from the Cox School of Business in May of 2007 with a concentration in Finance and Strategy and his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Southern Methodist University in 2001. He was instrumental in managing investor relations and the ultimate dissolution of Morningstar Energy, LLC. He earned his Associate of Risk Management and Associate of Information Technology designations from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters. Connor has lived in both Latin and South America and Asia and is fluent in Spanish.


Tracey A. Williams

Tracey joined Victory Partners, LLC in 2008 as an associate intern. Her responsibilities include conducting industry and market analysis and assisting senior associates with financial modeling and valuation for investment banking transactions. She is currently a MBA student at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University concentrating on finance and strategy. Tracey is the Co-President of the Cox Buyside Club and a Forte Foundation Fellow. Prior to attending SMU, Tracey was a food scientist at ConAgra Foods where she led the team responsible for the development of a new process that improves product quality in addition to saving the company approximately $2 million per year. A patent is pending for this technology. Tracey graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Florida and has master’s degree in Food Science and Technology from Texas A&M University.


Julie Krimm

Julie is the Controller and Director of Administration for Victory Partners, LLC.  Julie brings over fifteen years of financial management and operations experience to the firm.  Prior to joining Victory Partners, LLC she worked for Fieldstone Mortgage Company, where she was responsible for a division consisting of eight regions throughout the United States, including operational controls, planning, human resources, and customer and vendor relations.  Julie is the glue that keeps the team running cohesively.  Her integral role allows Victory Partners to perform at its highest operating potential. Her responsibilities revolve around supporting the Victory Partners team with the day-to-day functions necessary to close investment banking transactions and provide financial advisory services, including managing the firm’s finances, maintaining all banking relationships, vendor management, facilities management, human resources, and university relations.


Bradley H. Hickman, Jr.

Bradley joins Victory Partners, LLC as a research analyst. His responsibilities include performing financial analysis and market research for use in sell-side transaction marketing documents, industry research reports, market outlooks, business development presentations and strategic plans.  He serves as an integral link between the company and its clients through weekly progress updates, periodic industry news feeds, and event coordination.  Bradley joins Victory having spent four years in the real estate division of Hickman Investments in Fort Worth.  He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in commercial real estate brokerage and strategic acquisitions.  He has assisted in property management, leasing, and developed detailed financial statements for the company’s real estate holdings. Bradley received his BA in Economics with a minor in Business from The University of Texas at Austin.  Bradley is a CFA level I candidate and hopes to use the strategies he learns as an analyst to help start a prolific career in investment banking.
