R. Todd Lazenby

BIOGRAPHY
Todd is the founding partner of Victory Partners, LLC and Royal Ascot Partners, LLC. He brings 23 years of private equity, investment banking, and corporate finance experience to the firm, having held increasing senior level positions in start-ups, mid-sized and Fortune 500 companies. He has built an investment firm catering primarily to family offices that has made control investments in companies comprising over $300M in enterprise value and has arranged and overseen in excess of $3.0 billion in capital markets and mergers & acquisitions transactions. Prior to founding VP and RAP, Todd was the Managing Partner of Summit Capital Partners, LLC in Los Angeles, then the managing partner of WP Capital Partners, L.P. in Dallas, both merchant banking firms representing middle market companies on a national basis. Previously, Todd was a founding principal of Affinity Finance, LLC in San Francisco, where he was instrumental in developing a joint venture with a leading California bank and developing the company’s asset securitization platform. Prior to forming Affinity, Todd held the position of Group Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco, initially managing a technology reengineering initiative for the consumer credit group, then managing the bank’s national home equity, student lending, and unsecured consumer lending divisions. He serves or has served on several company and charity boards, including Optimium Health, LLC, Maui Girl & Co., Inc., Varaha Systems, LLC, TXP Corporation (TXP:NASDAQ), FOH, Inc. (Fredricks of Hollywood), HomeBanc Inc., CMG Bancorp, Inc., Automated Data Sciences, Inc., Marshmallow Fun Co., Morningstar Energy, LLC, Zyvex Technologies, LLC and InTelegy Corp. Todd is a former member of the Dallas Chapter of YEO (Young Entrepreneurs Organization) and a member of the Baylor University Executive MBA Committee. In addition, Todd serves on the board of directors of NFTE (Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship) and served on the board of directors for the March of Dimes. He has been an adjunct professor and guest lecturer at SMU’s Cox School of Business, TCU’s Neeley School of Business, Baylor’s Hankammer School of Business, Johns Hopkins’ Carey School of Business and Loyola University’s Sellinger School of Business. He holds a MS from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and a MBA and a BS in Communications from Florida State University.
