BIOGRAPHY

James L. Kammann has over 15 years of national sales & marketing experience along with 20 years of entrepreneurial ownership to Victory Partners.   His career has focused on placing new products into Food, Drug, and Mass Merchandisers along with Health Food Stores around the country, and owning and running four businesses.  Living in Chicagoland area for many years, he was involved with manufacturers of decorative accessories / giftware, flavor & fragrances, Italian ice, and home medical devices. 

While at Home Access Health Corporation, as Director of Sales, he introduced the Home Access HIV kit to market.  It was one of the first anonymous home HIV kits, and was as accurate as going to a doctor. This was revolutionary at the time making Home Access a pioneer in home testing.  Jim directed sales into over 40,000 retail stores throughout the country.  While head of sales for an Italian Ice manufacturer, he was instrumental in establishing a nationwide program with Taco Bell to sell Italian Ice pushup treats in all of their stores for two years.

In addition, Jim has owned four businesses that ranged from selling ice cream in two retail shops, owning a home testing diagnostic company, a catering business, and establishing and owning a targeted consulting business.

He is a member of Chaine des Rotisseurs where he enjoys the comradery, food and wine with fellow members.  He was on the boards of the Asheville Downtown Association as Treasurer, Asheville Independent Restaurant Association as President, March of Dimes, Rotary Member, and on the board of directors of the North Carolina Governor’s Western Residence. 

Jim earned a BA in economics from Bethany College in West Virginia.  He was captain of the tennis team, member of the Economics Club and assistant to the Registrar.  He enjoys tennis, golf, hiking in the woods and good friends.  Jim is married with two daughters and five grandchildren.
